The table below indicates the domains of practice for a restricted registration available to residents by service and site. Please indicate the domain of practice for which you are seeking a restricted registration. Please ensure that you have the level of experience required for the type of service and type of location you will be providing service, and that the level of supervision will be required.

Emergency, Ambulatory Care, Inpatient & Outpatient Psychiatry in Non-Teaching Tertiary and Non-Teaching Community. May also work in non-U of T teaching hospitals. 3, 4 & 5 Residents MUST have successfully completed mandatory rotations in PGY1 Year (including 2 month of Internal Medicine and 1 month ER and 1 month ER-Psychiatry) Adult General Psychiatry - Inpt. & Outpt., including full on-call duties (12 months); Geriatric Psychiatry (6 months) must be completed by the time that restricted registration work has begun. During residency >=4/5 Must pass Departmental Oral in PGY2, plus PGY3 (if applicable) Low
Individual Counselling /Psychotherapy in Ambulatory/Outpatient Psychiatry Settings-Non Teaching Tertiary or non-Teaching Community Hospitals. May work in non-U of T teaching hospitals. 4 & 5 PGY2 Year; >12 months of supervised long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (1 case) plus 12 months of CBT supervision (2 cases) During residency >=4/5 incuding psychtherapy gradable learning objectives Must pass Departmental Oral in PGY2, plus PGY3 Low
