The table below indicates the domains of practice for a restricted registration available to residents by service and site. Please indicate the domain of practice for which you are seeking a restricted registration. Please ensure that you have the level of experience required for the type of service and type of location you will be providing service, and that the level of supervision will be required.

Teaching Hospital - Tertiary (HSC only) 2 (min 18 months training Minimum of 18 months of training (as per RR guidelines), must have completed the rotation being requested for call for pay at level being requested (ie. To do senior in ER must have done at least one month rotation of senior in ER). Wards, Paeds ER, Peri/NICU*, Subspec inpatients*, paediatric general surgery*, associate* Must have completed the rotation as per previous column at appropriate place in residency curriculum. >=4/5 Moderate, equivalent to supervision of a resident on the service
Teaching-Community 3 Wards (General paeds), ER (Paeds only) within 1 year of application >=4/5 High
Non-Teaching-Tertiary 3 Not applicable within 1 year of application >=4/5 High
Non-Teaching-Community 3 Wards (paeds), ER (Paeds only) within 1 year of application >=4/5 High
*applies to the Hospital for Sick Children only. When performing duties in these settings, trainees must be supervised by the appropriate subspecialists.
